WHO WE ARE, WHERE WE CAME FROM, AND WHERE WE'RE HEADED AS A CHURCH ASSOCIATION 

 

Together we are a community of believers. What does that mean, the word community? We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God and one another. The bible speaks about iron sharpening iron. We believe that together we grow stronger. We are a community of believers. 

 

We strive to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. Most churches find it is comfortable to stay within the walls, but we make it an effort to be like the church from the book of Acts, to see our city changed.

 

We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship, and ultimately growing closer to God. We value the word of God, and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all of the lost and broken, and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.

Rehoboth Council of Christian Churches Inc. is a multicultural group of churches that have one goal in mind, this is to lift up wellsprings of life-giving water that give hope, truth and purpose to every individual so they can live a God first life.

What's the bottom line? More than ever, Rehoboth Churches is committed to fostering a family built around the great commision. Restoring individuals to enjoy their best life, preparing believers to do the work of God and sending ministers to raise up wellsprings of hope.

OUR HISTORY

SMALL BEGINNINGS

  1. Founded in 2004 by Rev. Bernabe with a small group of family and friends
  2. Gathered around town until 2006 when we purchased our first building
  3. By 2009 we outgrew our first building, and moved into our second building
  4. Due to exponential growth, we started a building construction project in Summer of 2016
  5. Moved into new building in Fall of 2017

Rev. Bernabe Guardado

Bishop

Rev. Bernabe Guardado started leadership in 2017. Since then, he serves as the Bishop of Rehoboth Council Of Christian Churches. Rev. Guardado is married to his wife Prescilla. They arealso the Senior Pastors of our North Plainfield Church located in NJ.

Vice President

Rev. Obed Vazquez started leadership in 2017. Since then, he serves as the Vice President of Rehoboth Council Of Christian Churches. Rev. Vazquez is married to his wife Gloria. They are also the Senior Pastors of our Mother Church located in East Harlem NY.

Rev. Miguel Canton started leadership in 2017. Since then, he serves as the treasurer of Rehoboth Council Of Christian Churches. Rev. Canton is married to his wife Soraya. They are also the Lead Pastors of our Rehoboth S.I. Church located in Staten Island.

Rev. Antonio Ramquar started leadership in 2022. Since then, he serves as the sub secretary of Rehoboth Council Of Christian Churches. Pastor Antonio is married to his wife Melissa. They are also the Lead Pastors of New Life Rehoboth Church located in the Bronx.
